Bats flee and the coming of the dawn is heralded by rosy clouds and birds in brilliant colors. Edward Robert Hughes (1851–1914) was an English painter who worked in a style influenced both by Pre-Raphaelitism and Aestheticism like Edward Burne-Jones he also showed an inclination towards Symbolism.
