Poster inspired by a beautiful painting by Frederic Leighton (Eucharis or A girl with a basket of fruit c.1863). Eucharis does not appear in Greek mythology she is a charachter in a 17th century improvisation upon Homeric themes (François Fénelon The adventures of Telemachus 1699). In the novel Telemachus while searching for his father Odysseus has been shipwrecked on Calypso's island and there has fallen in love with Eucharis.
